Hi! I'm Sarah, a 35-year-old woman who farms in the Midwest of the United States. In this blog, I want to share my daily life, farm work, challenges and successes with you. Today is March 20, 2024 and it's a sunny spring day. I woke up early and greeted the sun and headed out to the fields. My task today is to water the crops and plant new seedlings. The weather was a bit cool this year, so the planting was a bit delayed. But I hope everything goes well and I can have a good harvest. Farming is hard work, but it is also very rewarding. Working the soil, watching the crops grow and finally getting the fruits of my labor gives me great joy. Of course, it's not always easy. You have to deal with weather conditions, diseases and pests. But I keep working tirelessly because being in nature and producing my own food gives me a great sense of freedom. In this blog, I will not only talk about farm work.
